| CLINICS FOR HUMANITY
The mission of WONMP is to fulfill the duty entrusted to it by its first meeting of its founders, the delivery of primary health care and natural medicine to the worlds economically deprived peoples. The human cost of conflicts is immense, and the physical and psychological wounds they inflict on the population are enormous. The latter heal very slowly. This reinforces the necessity of developing a worldwide group, geared to education, health and peace. Hopefully, this will awaken within societies, the values, attitudes and bonds of common interest necessary to transcend the differences arising from conflicts and inequities.
WONMP is affiliated with the Sovereign Order of the Orthodox Knights Hospitaller of Saint John of Jerusalem. Announced at the World Congress in Nassau, June 2006, many WONMP members contributed to the development of a rural hospital in Santo Domingo, Ecuador. Land was donated at that Congress by the Honorable Victor Abad.

Trainee doctors from WONMP-CASHA accredited schools and WONMP natural medicine practitioners will administer primary health care and natural medicine therapies. Under the WONMP program, these services will be provided free of charge whenever it is needed.
The WONMP mandate is to establish the first rural clinic-hospital in Santo Domingo, Ecuador over the next five years. Another facility for Venezuela is in the planning stages.
Governments are restricted in providing cost effective primary health care to the poor, due to their reliance on manufactured drugs. Most allopathic medical doctors are at a loss without expensive hospital technology, technicians and prescriptive drugs. Their lack of knowledge with respect to natural medicines prevents them from using an inexpensive, effective and reliable sources of healthcare.

Dr. MacBaine, Our High Commisioner for Thailand, service -
CLINICS FOR HUMANITY - INDIA

Dr. C R.G. MacBaine, advising foreign physician and founder of the "Arpan Care Hospital Foundation-ACHF" for the Abha Seva Sadan Hospital in Anandanagar, Baglata, Purulia West Bengal, India, began this foundation with one purpose in mind, to collect and direct ALL donations to the hospital, for its greatest and most urgent needs. No donations, especially money, will be used for any other purpose.
The hospital is currently facing an acute financial crisis. Due to a lack of funds, the regular MD (Allopathic) doctor has been replaced by a registered Ayurvedic (natural medicine) practitioner. The two nurses had to be replaced by CMS (village health practitioner) students and other volunteers due to costs. The supply of clinical and sanitation materials has been hampered by this same financial crisis.
So please, be generous and pledge to give whatever you can. Or, why not consider adopting a specific need of the hospital, i.e. monthly telephone, electric or transport fuel costs, or perhaps something a bit more, like the doctor's monthly pay? I realise this all seems a bit expensive, but please do consider that these costs are in India Rupees, not British Pounds or American Dollars, so even a small amount goes a very long way (Donations can be considered "tax exempt").
If you, or someone you know has access to a Non-Governmental Organisation (N.G.O.), this would be a great help. What is desperately needed are: funds to buy more medicines, medical accessories, and funds to employ more staff. I have personally pledged to pay the monthly costs for much needed natural medicines.
To make cash donations, please deposit into: Ananda Nagar Development Society (ANDS), S/B Ac. No. 5465, Canara Bank, Lake Gardens Branch, Kolkata 45, Swift code: CNRBINBBCFD, Purpose: Social (Abha Seva Sadan Hospital, Anandanagar-ACHF). Receipts will be issued upon request.
Thank you and all blessings to you and yours,
Dr. C. Gigante MacBaine, M.B. M.S. , FRSM, Thai Red Cross Society Life Member
WONMP's RURAL MEDICAL TRAINING CENTER, NEVIS ISLAND
For several years, WONMP's President has been training medical students and doctors at the Nevis Island Natural Medicines Center. In the "old days" most educators went to great lengths to make sure that learners put in enough hours to earn their grades. While "time on task" is important, what is more important is that a person comes away from a course with skills and understandings that will help them in life. The apprenticeship system in most guilds and trades required a person to be able to perform certain skilled actions or produce items of a certain quality before being promoted. This the Professor points out that "hours spent do not an education make," and practical outcomes are what is important. Learning does not only take time, but also entials practical, life changing results. That should be the focus.
